I (unfortunately) have to “dress up” for work, and shoes can either make or break an outfit (or outie in the world of my sister who loves abbreviations). Thankfully my job does not require me to wear suits and high heels, but I do need to look put together. I use a little website (Anthropologie) for inspiration, and in doing so sometimes happen to browse at things they have to offer (enter the $798 Cowboy Boots).
Although I REALLY wanted the $798 boots, I came to realize (quite quickly) that they really weren’t in the cards. So, I got creative - I searched the online discount shoe websites, but couldn’t find anything below $200 that I loved. So, I got even more creative and went to Sierra Trading Post. They have some amazing shoe deals and I found a pair of cowboy boots that loosely resembled the $798 ones, except they didn’t have my size. However, a little store in Tulsa, Oklahoma did.
I am now the proud owner of the boots pictured above and saved ~$660 – AND they are genuine cowgirl boots. They even have an extended heel for spurs, which will be my next purchase…maybe.
