the sweet stuff

this is Martha's photo, but
mine looked exactly the same
I was going to make a family favorite as my dessert contribution, but decided to try something new.  Instead, I experimented with a Martha recipe that came out great. The recipe boasts that it only requires six ingredients, but don't be fooled - it requires seven and the powdered sugar turns the dessert into something worth talking about.  They really should add it permanently to the official list of ingredients.

This dessert requires owning a spring form pan.  I own a La Forme 9" pan and it hasn't disappointed me yet.  I am learning the desserts made in spring form pans come out looking quite professional.

This tastes as delicious as an apple pie, but requires much less work.  It comes out looking so nice that I would even encourage using it as a centerpiece on a Thanksgiving dinner table, if you own a "centerpiece-worthy" cake platter and can sacrifice the space.

It is gorgeous and delicious.  I applaud this sweet delight.
