it was wicked good

The second to last stop during our day of fun was the Gershwin Theatre to see the Broadway musical Wicked.  It was the seventh show I have seen since we moved. (The others include:  Chicago, Fela, The Pee-wee Herman Show, Lion King, Newsies, and the off-Broadway play Newsical the Musical.)  It was fantastic.  I highly, highly recommend it.  It was hilarious, the sets were detailed and plentiful, the costumes were gorgeous, and the singing was incredible.  It was an all-around, truly entertaining show.

I am always torn between going to see Broadway shows and modern dance companies.  I do my best to try and support both, but tickets to shows in the city are not cheap, so I have to pick and choose.  As of April, I am at two modern dance companies and one Broadway show.  What will the rest of 2012 bring...
