Nice shorts, Jesse Katsopolis. I would have bet $3,000,000 his last name was Konsopolis. Damn it. |
I have so many things I want to write about (and it is absolutely ridiculous that I posting this), but for some reason this thought came into my mind this past weekend: Stephanie Judith Tanner and the Menehunes. Please tell me you watched Full House, the television program. We sure did in our house and “Tanner Island” was one of our favorites. After doing about two minutes of research, I learned that “Tanner Island” came out in 1989 and was the first episode of season three. (Could I feel any older? Nope, don’t think so!) For those of you who have no clue what I am talking about: the whole Tanner clan takes a family vacation to Hawaii and Danny Tanner keeps pressuring everyone to follow along with his “clipboard of fun”, but everyone would prefer to split up and do their own thing. After a lot of convincing, Danny talks everyone into taking a boat ride and they end up somewhat lost because it turns out they were trying to get to an island on the map that was just a potato chip. Of course, nothing bad happens and they end up running into some natives that take them to a luau, and they get to go on stage and dance with them. The best part though is when Stephanie Judith Tanner talks about the Menehunes, which are pretty much Hawaiian leprechauns.
