an impressive documentary featuring stevie nicks

I hope you spent your Tuesday evening at a theater watching the Stevie Nick’s documentary In Your Dreams. It was a one-night viewing of the movie she produced with Dave Stewart, who is one half of the band Eurythmics, in theaters all over the country. It was amazing. I found out about it from a dear friend in Portland. She received word of it through the Book of Face, which made it semi-tempting to join. If I can find out about one-night viewings involving Stevie Nicks, I will do just about anything. However, it is still not going to happen...

The movie was two hours, which was a touch too long, but it was quite awesome. It depicted the creative process her and Dave went through during the making of her most recent album, In Your Dreams. I really wish I could hang out with her. She is so down to earth and real. She lives her life like a bird in flight in such a conscious and meaningful way. She doesn’t do things just because she can, or because she is super famous. There are significant reasons behind her actions. She also is a huge fan of dance parties, which pretty much makes us best friends, because I love dance parties too. The silliest part was when she referenced the movie Twilight (as in the cheesy vampire saga). She had a major connection with it, which is fine. I read all four books and wondered why I wasted my time doing so, but to each his/her own. If you even remotely like Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks, I suggest you check it out.
