I did not have the chance to write yesterday, but I saved the Google image of the day because I loved it. Yesterday would have been Maurice Sendak’s, author of Where the Wild Things Are, eighty-fifth birthday. I love the Google words they make in honor of certain people or specific holidays. This was one of my favorites. I love this book and I love the movie made about it. I have had the pleasure of seeing some of Mr. Sendak’s original drawings at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, MA. If you are ever in the area, stop by for a visit.
