a visit to our neighborhood farm

I was finally able to go and support the farm down the street from us in New Jersey. (I found out in January they had CSA shares a week after they were sold out. I was SO mad, but I joined their email list so I would know about their up and coming events.) They sent out an email last Sunday morning about a secret farm stand that afternoon. I was delighted I was home and available. They are adorable little farmers named Michael and Meg, and I left with a bounty of Jersey goodness from their farm, the Homestead at Seven Arrows . Included in my bounty were; fresh eggs, garlic, homemade salsa, a flower bouquet, colorful tomatoes, and a white cucumber. They also offered things like; homemade soaps, canvas totes, laundry soap, other veggies, and honey. I hope they have another secret farm stand real soon. Click here to visit their website.
