I wish that was the kinds of
train I had to ride to get places.

Geez louise, I have been terrible at writing. I have been busy with work trips during the week and traveling for fun on the weekends. I feel like my head is just above water at work lately, too. Normally I am a member of the “get things done ahead of time” club, but lately I have been president of the “oh shit, the meeting is in two hours get it done now” club. I know that still isn't as last minute as it could be, but it feels very last minute to me. I like plans and getting things done ahead of time. This nonsense is stressing me out, but hopefully things settle down next week - yeah right. I will at least be in the office for five full days, so there is hope.

I have been to Hanover, New Hampshire, and Toronto, Ontario, over the course of the last three weeks for work. I did have a semi-relaxing Labor Day weekend; it just felt like I was constantly riding trains. Last weekend was a family wedding, which also required riding a lot of trains. This weekend is a wedding that is 10-minutes away from our home. My husband will actually be home and we hope to head to the beach. September beach time is heavenly, as long as the sun is shining. Here’s to writing more next week…and a little more today.
