stack and seal and pile and close

I finally did it. I threw out all of our old Tupperware (aside from a few favorites I could not part with) and bought a fresh box of stackable containers. I am happy as a clam. We have been dealing with mix-matched storage vessels for too long. The shelf that holds them is our least favorite shelf in our home. It is evil and whenever we try to put something away, a pile falls and crashes to the ground – until freaking now! 

The covers stack under the containers, and we have a nice array of shapes and sizes. I have been meaning to do this for months years, but was nervous about making the wrong decision. I was in a BB&B this past weekend getting a shower gift for a friend and a box of Rubbermaid Flex & Seal Food Storage Containers caught my eye. I confess, I am bad at buying myself stuff when I am shopping for others, but this will make our entire family happier and less tense. I am pleased with my purchase thus far, and although I wanted glass I think buying BPA-free plastic is the way to go with my commuting.
