new england delights and changing leaves

I had a really fantastic weekend. The vast majority of it was spent with my sister and we visited parents, grandparents, cousins, and friends. We went to three wineries and four farm markets. The wineries were Black Birch in Southampton, Massachusetts; Gouveia in Wallingford, Connecticut; and Priam in Colchester, Connecticut. The farm markets were Atkins Farm in Hadley, Massachusetts; Bishops Orchards in Guilford, Connecticut; Rose Orchards in North Branford, Connecticut; and Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, Connecticut. If I had to choose my favorites, I would choose Gouveia and Black Birch – both have spectacular views and delicious wine. As for farm markets, I am partial to Atkins because we grew up going there, but I also love Bishops because my sister used to work there. Fall tastes so delicious! Get it in ya!
