being boyish at a prissy occasion

We have a number of weddings to attend this year (six, yikes) and although most of them are adult only parties, I just read something that made me wonder if any of the beautiful brides that are allowing children at their weddings will choose a less girlie approach to their flower girl(s). The article reiterated the fact that some little girls just aren't into wearing frilly dresses. I can relate and I am sure some of you can, too. There are people out there in the world allowing the flower spreading contingency at their weddings to wear pants, which I think is not only adorable, but genius! Most of the weddings we attend are outdoors. I think pants work very well in these environments vs. dresses. My real wish is that the older, less girlie guests could also get away with this notion. I would absolutely love to wear pants at a wedding, and with six in the next six months, I just might.
