colorful and artistic trajectory

This is my post to close out the week and not talk about food (or at least try to). We purchased a print made by Kris Tate and it fits in a large wooden frame we purchased a few months ago. What are the chances?! Miracle. Her work is eye-catching and bright, and she is described as "living in a world of geometrical colour with creatures of the forest". Truth be told I purchased the print "Voices of the Forest" at a Fab.com sample sale in Manhattan. It was not as inexpensive as I would have liked it to be, but I felt it was worth the splurge. I thought it looked more like deer puking rainbows than forest voices, but sometimes one interprets art differently than its creator - and it is okay. I am not sure where we are going to hang the print, but it is ready to be used to decorate our home. The coloring on our print is a little different than the picture displayed, but I hope you get the gist. I was thinking master bathroom, but after seeing how nice it looks in the frame, I am leaning more towards foyer. Where will it end up? Only time will tell. Regardless, enjoy your weekend and click here to see more of her work.
