a plan for one day of the weekend

I have decided to carve out some "me" time this weekend. I am going for a run, getting a mean suntan, getting a massage, and then eating whatever the hell I want for dinner. I do not necessarily deserve a huge break, but I want one really badly. I also completed the first of my large projects at work today and want a celebration. I am ready. I do not need alcohol or champagne either, I just want to do the things I mentioned and enjoy my evening, which will probably consist of catching up on the Bachelorette - the most horrible show on television that I love so dearly. I am three episodes behind - the horror. I have never watched any of the seasons on the actual days they aired (Mondays at 8:00 p.m.), as I always watch them via DVR. I think I made myself learn how to use the DVR because of this horribly awesome program. (Okay, maybe I watched the Ben season live, but that's been the only one.) I know it is cheesy and fake and it never works out (minus a few rare cases), but I love it. I cringe every time I hear, "I was doubtful at first, but this could be my husband/wife". I mean, come on...but I watch it religiously and would be angry if it didn't record correctly and I had to watch it via OnDemand and couldn't fast forward through commercials. You are probably thinking that I have no standards, but rest assured that I wasn't a huge fan of Sean (two seasons ago) and did not tune in - not even once. I have will power, just not much of it, because I put up with all of the other ones. Gone are the days when I lived without cable.
