hard-pressed to review this cold-pressing product

I really do not like using this blog to discuss negative items, but I need to review a product (and spoiler alert!) it isn't going to be pretty. My husband is really into drinking cold pressed juice and there's nothing healthier than making your own. The last thing we needed was another kitchen appliance in our home, so I did a bit of research and discovered that KitchenAid (as in the mixer) came out with a slow juicer attachment. Although there were minimal reviews for it (minimal as in zero), we went for it anyways. We thought we were being smart about buying a gadget we could add to something we already owned instead of buying an entirely new product, but boy were we wrong. It was our mistake buying something with zero reviews, but I always thought you could trust anything KitchenAid. Tricked again - do not trust the juicer. He tried using it twice and even though I wasn't home for either event, I had no problem envisioning the hell he was dealing with. Thankfully, we bought the product through Williams-Sonoma, so returning it will be a cinch. I couldn't imagine if we had to keep it. There are about ten million parts and they don't even work that well. That is my nightmare - I do not like keeping things in our home that are of no use to us. Sometimes I get on such a tear that I actually throw things away we need (oops!). The UPS person will be there to pick it up tomorrow morning and I couldn't be happier. Now we just need to decide what to turn to next. I am sending him to Trader Joe's to try their cold pressed juices. I personally don't like them (or any cold pressed juices for that matter) because they taste like dirt, but maybe he will feel differently.
