a success at dressing up like a dead person

I made that face on
many occasions.
I dressed up as Coco Chanel for Halloween.  A few people did not know who I was, but mostly everyone had at least heard of the brand Chanel before. I think it was my most successful costume to date. I was also quite comfortable and for the most part warm; I bought a 50's flapper wig to cover my blonde locks, wore ballet flats with CC's on the toes (but in the Chanel logo kind of way), a long navy blue dress, pearls, and dark lipstick. I really wanted to dress up as Teddy Roosevelt, but at the last minute decided to be a woman instead of a round, fat man. I think a wig can really make a costume, but they get so itchy. I ended up taking mine off, which also required wetting and combing my hair because it was suctioned under the wig with a knee high. The party I went to made Halloween fun. Normally I have a hard time with it, but I really, really enjoyed myself, especially when I was rattling off some of her fashion quotes. This year's theme was dead celebrities. Next year's theme is anything 80's. The possibilities are endless...
