lights, camera...no, just lights

I left the camera in the title because I want to apologize for the quality of the apple dessert photos.  Sorry.  I will be the owner of an Iphone tomorrow (bye-bye Blackberry), and I promise to download the Hipstamatic app and use that for my blog photos.  My husband uses that to take photos and they rule.

As for the light component of the title, I want to tell you about the neat-o lights I discovered.  These lights are super cool, and they come with a battery pack, so I can put them on the mantle and I don't have to run a cord.  I bought them at Restoration Hardware, which I had never been to before.  It is not the most economical place to shop, but they have really awesome things.  

I only bought one strand of lights.  They come in silver and copper wiring.  I opted for the copper.  The ones in the photo are silver.  My holiday decorating has begun.  Aside from the meal and hanging out with family, I am skipping Thanksgiving. Christmas, here I come!
