So, I realize there has been a lot of Christmas card action in my posts lately.  I promise to change the subject after this one.  I just had to report that my Christmas card ornament for this year is made.

I really do hope this tradition continues.  It makes me so happy to see my little creations on our tree.  I think next year I need to factor in the work time for my cards and not just focus on the end result.  I believe they call that "being realistic".  I normally have no problem making plans and figuring out how much work something involves, but I just get so darn excited about Christmas that sometimes I lose myself in all of the joy and merriment.  I guess it isn't such a bad thing.  This year all it resulted in was a few (or a hundred, let's be honest) pin pricks from sewing my buttons on.  Maybe next year we will do picture cards...
