(I have to share this story.  It makes me smile every time I think about it and this may sound sexist, but I mean it in the most innocent way.  I do realize that some women out there in the world actually like football.)

My husband and I wait to exchange Christmas gifts until the majority of our family obligations are over.  We like the dust to settle, so we can have a peaceful and relaxing evening with one another.  I am very thankful for everything he picked out.  His gifts are always very thoughtful, but there was one gift in particular that kind of took me by surprise – enter the Giants t-shirt. 

I believe he had me open the t-shirt somewhere in the middle of the rest of the gifts and boy, I wish you could have seen our faces when I opened it.  Picture this:

me:  "Oh, uh, what is this?  Was this on my Christmas list?  I don’t remember putting it on my list…"

husband:  (biggest smile on earth, jumping up and down, both fists pumping up into the air, lots of high-fiving going on)  "YES!  You got a Giants shirt!  This is so exciting!  You can wear it during games!  This is awesome!  Look, it’s your very own New York Football Giants shirt!  Can you even believe it!  That is the best gift ever!  What a great Christmas!  Best one yet!  YES!  YES!  YES!"

It was very hilarious and still makes me smile – and I know he will be psyched that I found a way to include the Giants logo in my blog.  And I do not hate everything about football - I really enjoy the snacks.
