I really do not know a thing about Brett Dennen aside from the fact that two of my friends have been big fans for many years.  I on the other hand, have never really spent much time listening to him.  He is a ginger (aka red head) and is quite adorable in a hipster kind fo way.  I “Shazamed” (Iphone app) one of his songs last weekend while shopping around The Papery, which is an overpriced paper and card shop for pretentious Jersey-ites.  I went in to purchase a pack of thank you cards and will never step foot inside that place again (unless I need a new Vera Bradley bag).  I will say that I have seen very nice things come out of that store (wedding invitations), but my personal experience was less than ideal. 

Anyhoo, I will leave you with this happy song for your weekend – a song that is about love and thinking about someone.  Not a song that sounds catchy and poppy, but actually has an absolutely horrible underlying message (insert Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People which sounds awesome, but is really about a student preparing to shoot all of his classmates), but instead a real, true song that is upbeat and joyous, and focuses on the most important thing in this whole, wide world – L.O.V.E.
