the bar-b-q sauce I referenced

If bar-b-q is your name and grilling is your game, you have to try 8-10-80 Bar-B-Q Sauce.  The magic recipe was invented by a few friends I met in Colorado while I was going to school.  It is delicious - as in the best sauce that ever graced the planet.  I really do stand behind it and am salivating thinking about a perfectly coated drumstick on the grill.

The boys that created this also knew how to properly grill meat, which in my opinion is an art in itself.  There was a lot of low-heat slow-cooking that went on, which (as I am sure you know) keeps the meat tender and juicy.  It felt like forever waiting for lunch or dinner to be ready, but after all that waiting it was well worth it!

It for sale through Nelson Farms, a very adorable country store in Cazenovia, NY.
(Their website is a little wonky, but after a few tries it worked.)

  1. Remember the bluebs kind. That stuff is spectacular. Maybe I need to buy some. Too bad I can't grill!

  2. I liked the Cabernet one the very best, but it appears they are only making the Sweet and Smokey at this point. We got a bottle at the Horan/LeGrand wedding in Colorado and it is so good. Jamone!
