I went to the dentist this morning and was inspired to write today for more than one reason - 1. It is the 22nd of February (I love 2 and 22!). 2. I love the dentist and had a really great morning (no cavities). 3. I recently read a friend's post about doing more adult-like things vs. adolescent-like things. And the biggest reason - 4. I chose mint toothpaste over bubble gum and didn’t even flinch. WHAT IS GOING ON?
I made my decision without even second guessing myself. She asked, “bubble gum or mint”? I responded, “mint”. It was that fast. It was that quick. Only seconds later did I realize that I just made a very adult decision regarding my toothpaste – a decision that has always gone more towards the kid’s side of things. My favorite flavor of toothpaste is grape and my favorite flavor of fluoride is apple cinnamon. What was I doing ordering mint? Am I am adult? Is it official? Oh my word…
Let's get sers krastumms. You wrote blogs about shooting butter, donuts and cannonballs. I think you might be on the cusp but not there quite yet. I sure know I'm not! Ahbrah cahdahbrah!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteUm, I didn't actually write that we drink the butter after the lobster is gone, but it appears that you have given our secrets away. Oh well. I appreciate your cusp comment and will forever be singing, "I don't want to grow up...".
