A blog I love makes posts about “living” inside of specific movies; “living” in the sense of dressing like the characters, being in the same region of the world or country, surrounding yourself with the same products, etc.  This week they featured the movie Mannequin.  Please tell me you have seen that movie.  We had it on VHS growing up and I have probably watched it close to 147 times.  I think the only movie I have watched more than that is Amelie, but this post is about Mannequin, not Amelie. 

My favorite quote is from Hollywood (one of the main male characters, not the city).  He is telling Emmy his diet woes with jelly donuts and colorfully says, “they call to me in the middle of the night – Hollywood, Hollywood, come and get me Hollywood – I just can’t stay away from them”.  The other character’s names in this movie were amazing too; Jonathan Switcher, B.J.
