a timeless (and very accessible) icon

I realize it’s an icon, and most icons are timeless, but there is something about the Brooklyn Bridge that makes it so very mesmerizing.  I am not usually the biggest fan of bridges – I am afraid of heights, unless my feet are firmly planted on earth that is not see-through – but I really do love that bridge.

I walked over it one summer, just so I could say I did it.  I was 65% scared.  I would probably do it again, but it would have to be a day with perfect weather.  It would be fun biking over it, but I would only do it very late at night or extremely early in the morning, because it gets very crowded.  I took this photo of it a few weeks ago.  I am really proud of it.  I am surprised it took me this long to post it, but here it is.
