let the gardening games begin

The seeds for our herbs have been purchased! I submitted the order today. We wanted seeds from High Mowing Seeds, a company from Vermont that was started in 1996 by a man named Tom Stearns. I went with the Herb Kit, which contains five out of the six kinds of herbs we wanted to grow - had to order a side of chives.

I am really excited and cannot wait until they arrive. I hope our little seedlings are strong, and grow up to be high-yielding and plentiful. My husband finished installing the black painted L-brackets yesterday and the empty pots and trays are up. I realize it will be a bit of time before there are actual herbs there, but I am still antsy and cannot wait! Click here to visit the High Mowing Seeds website.
