accessorizing in the kitchen

top: drawers, bottom left: pantry
doors, bottom right: cabinets
We chose hardware for our bare kitchen cabinets and drawers. It happened, and honestly it was quite easy! Initially I thought it was going to be a lengthy process, but my husband and I have gotten a lot better at decision making regarding the house. It ended up going a little something like this:

Husband:  “What do you think about these ones for the drawers?”
Me:  “Those are nice, and I really like how heavy they are.  Do you think we’ll be able to find ones that match for the cabinets?”
Husband:  “What about these?”
Me:  “I like those too. I hope there are enough. 1, 2, 3…”
Husband:  “There only seems to be enough for the cabinets, but what about the pantry doors?”
Me:  “What if we use these for the pantry and these for the cabinets?”
Husband: “Okay.  That works.”

I thought it would take weeks to find ones we both liked, but it took minutes and it made such an improvement to our kitchen. I like that we used different knobs for the pantry and the cabinets, too. It adds a touch of variety, and you know what they say about variety…it's the spice of life!
