didn't think I liked it, but I do

Martha's beef. Not mine.
We ate a corned beef dinner on Saturday evening with some friends to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. My husband and I were really nervous about going because we thought we didn’t like corned beef. Turns out we do! I love the changing taste buds of adulthood. The only other thing I am waiting to like are olives. I just can't do it...

I remember having it when I was younger (as in over fifteen years ago) and HATING it. Honestly, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the boiled kind, but there was a smoked version that was incredible. They served each kind in a different way, which maybe had something to do with it. The smoked was served sandwich style with rye bread toast, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, pickles, and spicy mustard. I honestly think that I would eat anything served with pickles and mustard at this point in life. I heart pickles and mustard a lot.
