We had a pull-out drawer for our pots and pans in our last home, but this home did not come equipped with one. (Sad face.) I tried to figure out the easiest and cheapest way to store our pots & pans and came up with what is pictured. It works wonderfully. The stand can sit on its side, or stand up straight, but this way fits best in our cabinet. The little pot works well on a hook and there are only two pots stacked on the bottom shelf. It is a huge improvement from having everything stacked in one big pile because you know every time we went to go grab one; we needed whichever one was on the bottom. I still need to figure out a better system for the lids, but because of their differences in size and because we primarily use the two smaller ones, it really isn’t too bad. The stand was purchased on Amazon, but is also sold at Lowes.
Hi Krast, Dave had the great idea of hanging our pot lids on the wall in our kitchen using drawer pull knobs. They look cute and are so accessible with no stacking mess to contend with. Love the way the pans are vertical in your shelf; great use of space. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea. I actually saw something yesterday where you use towel racks on the doors of a pantry and hang your lids on that. I guess you could also do it on the inside of a cabinet, too. Our little pile of five still isn't bothering me. It seems to work out well with the balance of the extremely organized pots and pans.
