Our daily systems area is complete, or as complete as it’s going to get for at least a few years. I ended up going with the Pottery Barn chalkboard, corkboard, and letter bin. I was tempted to get creative and look for other options, but wanted to ensure this area looked neat, tidy, and a bit modern. I lined the sides of the area with four inch square photos from my Instagram account. I used a website called Printstagram and paid $12.00 for twenty four photos. The left side has tomatoes, my husband holding an ice cream cone, a close-up of a Scottish Highlander cow (aka our old neighbors), and an apple cider mimosa. The right side has my deviled eggs, a tractor decoration from the winery we visited a few weeks ago, a goat that lived on the farm we stayed on during my last work trip to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and a sleek bottle of red with some asparagus cooking in the background. In a year or so, we can easily rotate the photos with some fresh shots. My button thumb tacks are on the corkboard, and of course, Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga both have their place on our chalkboard. Here’s to being organized!
