my deal of the weekend (well, one of them)

The weather is getting nicer and our yard work is getting done. The time has come to relax and enjoy our backyard. The man we bought our home from left us some nice patio furniture – one large table and six chairs. They are dark green and metal, and in wonderful shape. My goal was to find pillows, lanterns, and a piece of art that we could hang on the house for at least three seasons. (I saw a patio set-up on Pinterest with a piece of art hanging on the wall. I liked how it made the space feel – like an actual room inside the house, even though it was outside.)

I visited three discount-type stores this past weekend and really did well. I found floral pillows that are tan, black, green, orange, purple, and yellow. I found a metal piece of art to hang that is tan, black, green, and orange. My proudest accomplishment is my orange lantern. I was two clicks away from ordering the ten inch one pictured on the left from a store I will refer to as PB for $40 (including shipping). I found the eighteen inch one pictured on the right with a price tag of $25, and to my ultimate delight it rang up as $12.99! Can you say deal? I can.
