new recipes on the horizon

I am really excited for the weekend. We have friends visiting and I am going to try a slew of new recipes. I will report back and let folks know if any really “wow” the guests. I will also keep you in suspense, in regards to what I am making. What I will say is I made two things last night and they smelled wonderful. Plans for the weekend include; heading to the beach for a walk, a picnic lunch, and some relaxing. I cannot wait. What I can wait for is Sunday when they leave because my schedule is filled with taming our mini trees and shrubs. They are out of control and spring is the time to prune! The yard will look much better though and the greenery will be much healthier with space to live and breathe - eye on the prize. Enjoy your weekend.
