We are getting serious about our foyer and living room. We have paint swatches for the living room at this very moment. We are thinking light green or light blue main walls, and then a bold accent wall where the fireplace is. We thought we had it all figured out, but then I realized the fireplace stones are super peachy. An orange-y accent wall wouldn’t be very bold against peachy stones, so we are back to square one. I am thinking black, deep royal blue, peacock blue, or olive green.
I think I want the room to be influenced from a decorating standpoint by Morocco. I am not sure why, I just do. I was poking around a stencil website and found the stencil pictured above. We have been racking our brains on what to hang on the narrow wall areas between the long windows and I found the perfect decoration! I want to use white paint, which will match the trim of the room, and whatever color we choose for the accent wall. I am not 100% about the number or layout, but we now own an extra small and small zinnia stencil and I cannot wait to use it. Click here for the website.
