how to warm the house of a loved one

As friends upgrade apartments and buy homes, I strive to bring a thoughtful housewarming gift to congratulate them on their new dwelling. I have learned over the years that my taste sometimes differs from others. I also worry about spending money on something that I consider nice that they don't need, or already have. Today I found a solution! I am not overly into making baskets, but this one is wholesome and in my opinion, really thoughtful. Most of the products in the basket are edible, which means they will only take up space for a small period of time. The basket contains bread, a candle, honey, olive oil, salt, and something wooden. As all of those things are delicious and wonderful on their own, you also include the following words that further explain the reasoning behind each item: bread - may those in your home never go hungry, candle - may you always have light through the darkest times, honey - may you always enjoy the sweetness of life, olive oil - may you be blessed with health and well-being, salt - may there always be flavor and spice in your life, and wood - may your home always have stability, harmony, and peace. There are a few more items you can include and the additional taglines can be found here. You can pick and choose what fits best, depending on who you are visiting. I will be putting one together this weekend to deliver on Sunday with the items listed above. I hope they like it as much as I do.
