seeing stars, but not from being dizzy

I have been seeing a lot of stars lately. No, not the kind you see when you stand up too fast because you haven't been breathing properly...famous people stars. I was under the impression I was passing people by day after day over the course of the last five years and not recognizing them, but I think it was more that I wasn't in a "cool" area of New York City. Well, my new area is totally cool and I have to limit myself from going out on a regular basis because going out means shopping and spending the monies. I look SO forward to the times when I need to go out and buy gifts or supplies. Yesterday I was on a mission for a bridal shower gift - I tried to think of the most memorable shower gift I received and based my gift buying around that. I stopped into Anthropologie (literally six blocks away, so dangerous) and bumped into Nancy Giles in the sale room. My husband and I are huge fans of CBS Sunday Morning, so this was quite a treat. I didn't snap a photo because I didn't want to bother her, but I knew well before getting a glimpse who it was. She has such a distinct voice and was quite jazzed because they were offering an additional twenty percent off sale items - woohoo! See, everybody likes a sale, even famous people. Today I needed to make a quick stop at the Apple store (four blocks away) and as I was paying for my car charger I looked up and knew I was seeing a familiar face. This particular face was so fine I immediately thought model -> Tyson Beckford, but it was not him. I made myself look again, trying to keep my staring problem at bay, and when he smiled I realized it was Maxwell. (Wouldn't mind running into him again, just saying.) I walked by an actress last night on my way to the subway, but I still can't place who she was. My mind went to Clueless -> Ridgemont High -> Real World, but I just can't place her. I get a sense she played a "bad girl", but that's as far as I can get. She has one those toothy/gummy smiles and really chubby cheeks, but is quite thin and tall. I would guess she is in her thirties and I am picturing her in a peasant top - I have no idea why. Yay stars and of course I have Ascension (Don't Ever Wonder) playing in my head.
