a refreshing, easy-to-make summer delight

Marty Stew's photo,
not mine.
I experimented with a new drink a few weeks ago when some friends were visiting from South Carolina. I had been a little intimidated to make it, but my intimidation proved to not be very warranted. It was SO easy and absolutely delicious. The drink is a peach and rosemary spritzer and it is a glorious cocktail to make for the summer. It also makes the house smell amazing. I am having a few friends down this weekend and am going to cook up the syrup tonight. I like that it is a spritzer and not a vodka drink. I don't do well with vodka, unless of course it is in a White Russian. I also used rose wine, not white - loving rose this summer! The rosemary peach is a great combination, but we were also trying to think of other options - strawberry and basil, pineapple and cilantro...the list could go on and on. Click here for the recipe, and don't be scared like I was. Here's to a wonderful weekend with friends and good food & drink. Be safe and enjoy! xo
