growing up and growing out, a tree story

So this story is a lot different from the penis map story. (I decided to act my age today, since yesterday was a wash.) As enthralling as they both are, this story is about trees and if you couldn't tell trees hold a place near and dear to my heart. A man named Sam Van Aken has mastered the art of grafting plants and has taken it to a new level by creating trees that grow and produce more than forty types of fruit. He considers himself an artist, not a scientist, and calls his process "sculpture through grafting". Um, this is crazy, but really freaking awesome.
