go Cubs go...hey Chicago what do you say

My husband and I are Cubs fans and they are doing a really good job so far this year, which is a huge improvement from past years. (Knock on wood.) We are pumped that we will get to watch an actual Cubs game at Wrigley Field this summer and are hoping to also catch them at Citi Field when they play the Mets. As much as I would love to catch a game when they play the Phillies, it is Memorial Day weekend and I will be at the beach, unless they are crushing it and then I will make an exception...if we can get tickets. I've never been prouder of the team than I have been these past few days. I know it is early, but it is nice to have this positive energy. Normally I love the Cubs, but have zero hope they will ever win a game. It is part of being a fan, I guess - it just isn't as sad when they lose when you never think they'll win in the first place. One of the tour guides we used in Italy was talking to Anthony Rizzo (first baseman for the Cubs) as he was driving us back from our Herculaneum and Sorrento adventure; Rizzo was going on a tour the following day and was trying to reschedule for a later date. We tried getting his location, but Fabrizio (yes, that was his real name) would not give it up. I think it was sign - I'm not sure what it was a sign for just yet, but I am going to continue cheering for them and focusing on the letter "W" for win and the letter "C" for Cubs. "Hey Chicago what do you say, the Cubs are going to win today"...and hopefully tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that, and...
