having great influence on someone or something

Yeah Ruth!
TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential People came out yesterday and while I sincerely believe everyone should find their own inspirations, mentors, and motivators, it is fun peeking at their list. Two articles were circulated around my office this morning because our donors were featured - DVF and Danny Myer. DVF does not need any introduction, but Danny Myer owns Shake Shack and I've wanted a cheeseburger since ten o'clock this morning. (Feed me cheeseburgers.) I love seeing that people like Martie Stew, Oprah, and Rupert Murdock took time out of their busy lives and exercised their writing skills. What an honor to have the queen of clean produce a write-up about you, said not Kim Kardashian. I would personally be ELATED, but that would mean she would have to know me and at the present moment, Martie and I are not that tight. In due time...maybe. I really don't like that Kanye West is listed first - Buzzkill City - but aside from that, it is quite interesting - both to see who made the list, as well as to see who wrote the articles. I will be the first to admit I own and still listen to his song Love Lockdown, but he is a total ass and does not deserve any positive recognition. Click here to read it and remember to scroll up (I was not saving it from the top because I did not want Kanye, or as the Kardashian's say it - Kan-YAAAY -  to pop-up first, boo him).
