spoon + fork = spork

I found my very own spork this past weekend.  It takes me back to my hiking days, but instead of taking it on the trail, I plan to take it to work.  It is the second spork I have ever owned and it is green!  I had a germ-phobic thought last week and decided that I don't want to share silverware with the vast majority of my coworkers.  We have a dishwasher, but I would feel much more comfortable keeping track of my own utensil.  I want to be responsible for washing it and keeping it clean.

(I found it at the kitchen store at Chelsea Market for $3.50.  What a deal.  I met my mom and sister in the city this past weekend, and Chelsea Market was one of our stops.)

    are these the "light my fire" sporks? they are the best spork and really one of the best brand names around. i have the green one too, although mine is filthy from camping. great idea to bring it to work.

    These are "light my fire" sporks. I love it. It was a smart purchase, and the fact that it is green just makes it even better.
