presenting your host, bonnie appetite

After writing out Bon Appétit in the last two posts, I am reminded of the old ride in Epcot Center called Kitchen Cabaret.  I say “ride”, but apparently it was a 13-minute audio animatronic show located in The Land Pavilion.  (I looked it up.)  Regardless, the host of the show was named Bonnie Appetite and I loved her.  She introduced the four food groups, which at the time were meat, dairy, cereal, fruits & vegetable, using music, comedy, and her puppet-like friends named: the Kitchen Krackpots, Dairy Goods and his Stars of the Milky Way, the Cereal Sisters, Hamm and Eggz, Colander Combo, and Fiesta Fruit.  Unfortunately, the ride closed in 1994, but man, did it provide some good times and happy memories for me.  *I am well aware that the photo is awful, but it is the only one I could find.  What’s most important is she was a hell of a host and did a damn good job singing Meal Time Blues.
