I searched far and wide for a spring wreath idea for our front door, and found one on…you guessed it…Pinterest. Mine did not turn out exactly like the one I used as inspiration, but I love it anyway. I am so happy with the way it came out. It cost me a total of $3.99, as the only thing I had to buy was brads, or fasteners.
I spent a decent amount of time looking through my scrapbook paper for like colors. I do not scrapbook and do not really have any intention of ever starting, but I bought a package of patterned scrapbook paper for my Christmas cards three years ago and had some leftover. Next came the tracing and the cutting out of SO many flowers. I found the patterns online and they worked great; perfect sizes all around. I literally spent Sunday from lunch time until 9:30 p.m. cutting and fastening flowers. Last night I attached the flowers to the wire wreath base with floral wire. I had those supplies leftover from my evergreen wreath I made for winter. The fabric flowers on the bottom right-ish part of the wreath came from Poland. My sister bought them through Etsy for all of her bridesmaids and Maid of Honor (me) to pin on their dresses for her wedding. Click here for the free patterns and more detailed directions.
